Senior Hurling
Well done to the Senior hurlers, who battled to a 2-20 to 0-21 victory over Clonoulty Rossmore last Sunday afternoon in Templemore in the opening round of the County Championship.
A well-taken Tadhg Gallagher goal in the third minute gave Kiladangan a dream start, leading 1-4 to 0-1 by the seventh minute. Clonoulty responded strongly, cutting the gap to just two at half time (1-10 to 0-11).
The sides traded scores through the third quarter before both enjoyed purple patches in the final stretch. Kiladangan fired over five unanswered points between the 18th and 21st minute to move six clear, but Clonoulty hit back with four points in a row to set up a tense finish. Conor Culhane sealed the win with a goal three minutes into injury time.
Full teams, scorers, and a score tracker are available at KiladanganGAA.com. The lads now face Holycross Ballycahill in Round 2 on the weekend of August 23rd/24th.

The Junior A Camogie side get their championship underway this Saturday when they take on Templemore in Puckane at 7:30 pm. Best of luck to both our Junior panels and management teams this weekend.

Best of luck also to our Under 16s, who start their championship this Wednesday against Templemore in Clonmore at 7:00 pm.

A huge well done to Freya Collins, Abi O’Brien, Tara Hanrahan, and Chloe Kingston, who represented Tipperary in their final National Blitz of the year, winning the Shield. It’s a fantastic achievement for these four girls, who have proudly represented Kiladangan Camogie at county level throughout the season.

Congratulations to Angela McDermott, who was part of the 2000 Tipperary Camogie team honoured in Croke Park over the weekend.
